CLOCKWATCHER EXCEEDS ALL BUSINESS TARGETS
Tachodisc has announced that sales of its Clockwatcher instant analysis software solution have exceeded all business targets set for the first half of 2009.
Karen Crispe, Director at Tachodisc confirmed: “From day one, when we first launched Clockwatcher in 2005 in preparation for digital implementation in 2006, it has appealed to operators of all sizes; and still today there isn’t one single distinct type of Clockwatcher customer, we have many large logistic customers as well as many thousands of driver-owner operations using it. This broad appeal, and the fact that it has been developed by Tachodisc using our 30 years of legal expertise and knowledge, is why we believe it continues to be market leading. Equally the software hasn’t stood still and keeps evolving in line with customer needs.
Earlier this year we gave Clockwatcher its first major visual makeover and added a number of new user-friendly fleet management tools. These technical enhancements, the simplicity and cost effectiveness of the system, combined with the increase in the number of digi-tach users, we believe, are the reasons why we have been able to increase sales this year and exceed all our targets, confirmed Karen.
The 2009 version of ClockWatcher features a contemporary user interface with a new full screen display and menu structure to facilitate a quicker and more logical method of navigating between screens. It also features the new ‘Traffic Light’ system, which is a scheduling tool that enables the user, at a single glance, to view the overall statistical status of its drivers, and plan when the data on driver’s digital cards and Vehicle Units needs to be downloaded. Tachodisc has also increased the number of vehicle reports that can be printed.
