RETIRED DRIVERS RETURNING TO WORK
TACHODISC WARN THAT RETIRED DRIVERS RETURNING TO WORK WILL HAVE TO OBTAIN DRIVER CPC
As a JAUPT accredited training centre for Driver CPC, Tachodisc has received many enquiries from retired bus and coach drivers recently asking what their position will be if they decide to return to work beyond the initial five year period for acquired rights of Driver CPC. In short, Tachodisc is advising that in order to drive professionally again that they will legally have to obtain a Driver CPC by attending the required 35 hours of training.
Tachodisc confirm that this question is especially pertinent to the Coach Industry who employs a lot of part time drivers.
From its Warrington training school, Tachodisc offers a range of Driver CPC approved open courses, all of which are currently available to delegates for just £90. These include 7-hour courses on Drivers’ Hours and Tachograph Regulations, Digital Tachographs, Tachograph Records and Working Time Requirements, Defect Reporting, Economical Driving, Customer Care and Driver Safety Controls and Systems. Courses can also be held at operators’ premises.
