TACHODISC EXTENDS ITS PARTNERSHIP WITH ROADTRANSPORT.COM

Following the incredible response to the specialist Drivers’ Hours Law micro site, which was created by Tachodisc earlier this year for Commercial Motor’s roadtransport.com web site, both parties have agreed to extend the web based information service for at least another 3 months.

The micro site was designed to provide readers of Commercial Motor up-to-date information and advice on the new Drivers’ Hours Law regulations, which came into force on 11th April 2007.  The site’s content is divided into three parts, what you need to know, your questions answered, and what the law says.  To view the Drivers’ Hours micro site, please visit www.roadtransport.com and click on ‘New EU Drivers Rules: What You Need to Know’.

TACHODISC SUPPORT THE DRIVER NETWORK

Tachodisc has agreed a 12-month sponsorship deal with Trucknet UK, a website solely dedicated to the needs of drivers.

Karen Crispe, Director of Tachodisc says:  “Working within the area of driver regulations, Tachodisc is very aware that driver education in the current and upcoming legislation is vital to ensure safety on the roads, and to help the driver work as efficiently as possible.”

“This sponsorship recognises Tachodisc’s support for the unique way that Trucknet UK provides peer advice and support to help drivers keep within the law.”

CV SHOW WINNER
Visitors to the Tachodisc stand at the Commercial Vehicle Show this year were given the unique opportunity to win a high-adrenaline Ultimate Supercar Experience.  The lucky winner of the competition is David Shorthouse, and he is now looking forward to driving a Ferrari 360 Spider, a Porsche 911 Carrera, a Lamborghini Gallardo and an Aston Martin V8 Vantage!

Well-done David!
