Remote tachograph downloading
The DigiPostV provides remote downloading of any digital tachograph provided the user has access to a company card.
When used with a VDO 1.3 an appropriate company card can reside at any location that has access to the internet and can be validated from the vehicle initiating the download.
DigiPostV adds the ability to include earlier models of digital tachograph provided that a company card is present in those vehicles.

Task manager
The four button interface makes it possible to utilise DigiPostV for simple tast management. Standardised requests can be passed with a list of known outcomes to be validated bu the driver, thus providing two-way communication.

GPS module

• DigiPostV has a built-in GPS module providing a constant stream of global positioning data. The detail provided from the GPS data is comprehensive. This will allow companies to track their vehicles and gather accurate distance, speed, braking and acceleration data.

Data transfer
Data volumes are kept extremely low as data is transmitted in binary data packets as opposed to the standard ASCII formats.
