As it is a legal requirement to download data from both the Vehicle Unit and Drivers Card, this time consuming task can be automated by using the digiDL.

Designed for companies who have drivers and vehicles spread across the country, as an aid to offer full flexibility as the vehicle can transfer data from any location.

Technical
The card is placed permanently in a card reader on any PC which has an internet connection. The digiDL makes a connection via GPRS to the internet and in turn to your company card via the Tachodisc server. The process authenticate as if the Company card were in the vehicle. digiDL therefore performs a download and passes the files to a nominated location via GPRS.

This unit is only suitable for Stoneridge Rev 7.0 and VDO 1.3 tachographs onwards.

All data exchange is encrypted. Hardware connections are subject to a challenge response. Proprietary packet send and receive.

Variable download options are available:
Up to 3mb per month = Card, VU and speed  weekly.
Up to 5mb per month = Card daily, VU and speed weekly.
Up to 10mb per month = Card, VU and speed daily.

Price is exclusive of both installation cost and SIM card cost.
