Driver CPC (CRS2059/162)

This course has been designed for LGV drivers only.

Designed to give delegates a greater appreciation of their legal obligations in relation to the safe loading of vehicles. Drivers will be made aware of how to effectively secure the load with reference to the different types of packaging and securing equipment available. The driver will also be given instruction on what is required in respect of daily walk round vehicle safety checks and defect reporting procedures.

Operational benefits:

Understanding how to manage the load safely and securely should result in a safer working environment with fewer accidents and fewer penalties. Together with more effective vehicle maintenance systems this will lead to greater protection of both the driver’s vocational licence and the status of the operator licence.
