Welcome to Tachodisc

Tachodisc, as we know it today, is mainly due to the initiative of Mr Robert (Bob) Bennett.  In 1977, two years before UK tachograph legislation was introduced, Bob, working from his humble garage in Bacup had to foresight to develop a range of drivers' record books - known as the "Pippin Plan".

The Pippin Plan was exceptionally well received by drivers and transport managers alike.  Further expansion of this concept and later an acquisition of his business would ultimately lead to the making of Tachodisc or TDUK as it is also known today.

The rest is history...
